Israeli checkpoints have been choking Al-Quds City

Jerusalem is currently under a tight blockade with 85 Israeli-imposed obstacles, including military checkpoints, dirt mounds, and iron gates—most recently installed near Hizma and Anata during the early days of the offensive on Iran. These measures aim to prevent Palestinians from reaching the city and isolate it from its natural and social surroundings.

The blocked roads are vital for nearly 130,000 Palestinians daily, but their movement is now fully controlled by the Israeli army, which opens and closes the gates arbitrarily.

As in previous escalations, Israel is using the Iran conflict to push forward its Judaization policies in Jerusalem, as part of a broader plan to alter the city’s and demographics.
